Mrs Seah Eng Khoon (Bukit Brown)

Mrs Seah Eng Khoon alias Yeo Soon Im (second daughter of Yeo Boon Hwang ) passed away at 10:30 pm on 14th September 1930 at 253 River Valley Road. She leaves behind her husband, three sons; Seah Keok Whee, Seah Keok Hee and Seah Keok Quan. 7 daughters, 2 daughters-in-law, 2 son-in-laws and 7 grandchildren. Her age was listed as 43.  Seah Eng Khoon and family thanked their relatives, friends and staff of Socony and the Goodyear Orient Sales Co. Ltd for the visits and wreath.

There was an article which mentions of a Dove Competition in 1937 that was held at the estate of Seah Eng Khoon at the 6th milestone, Thomson Road. Seah Eng Khoon passed away at the age of 79 on 8 March 1963 at 23-H Thomson Rise Estate.

Son: Seah Keok Hee
Seah Keok Hee was closely associated with the Springdale Minstrels whereby 253 River Valley Road was mentioned to be the residence of Seah Keok Hee were a number of music practices were held. Seah Keok Hee passed away at the age of 75 on 1st November 1985. He is survived by his wife, 4 sons, 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law, 8 grandchildren, 1 grandson-in-law. The cortege left from 37 Kim Keat Lane.

Madam Yeo Soon Im is in buried in Block 3 Division A plot 174.
