Cho Beng Neo nee Mrs. Tan Chin Whatt passed away at the age of 68 at No. 80 Truro Road (off Dorset Road) on 30th April 1934. She leaves behind her 2 sons, Messrs. Tan Hong Leong and Tan Hong Boon, a daughter, Madam Tan Suan Neo, a grandson (listed at the tomb are 2 grandsons - Tan Teck Eng, Tan Bah Chee ), 3 granddaughters ( Tan Chee Chit, Tan Chit Nya, Tan Eng Neo), 2 grand-sons-in-law (Messrs. Tan Cheng Wan of S.H.B. and Cheong Kam Choy of Municipality) and several great grandchildren.
