Madam Tay Swee Neo nee Mrs. Chew Swee Teong tomb is located in Lao Sua. There were English words engraved that list her as being born on 20 July 1862 and died on 25 December 1906. Chew Swee Teong / Chiew Swee Teong was a cashier of the South British Insurance Co. since its inception and was regarded as the oldest hand in the service of the company. Mr Chew Swee Teong was among the many chinese pioneers present when Tan Jiak Kim was bestowed the most distingusished order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G) by Governor, Sir Arthur Young n behalf of the King on 1912. Chew Swee Teong of 4 Stanley Street passed away at the age of 61 on 27 May 1918. He was buried at Bukit Timah Cemetery. The executors of his will were Wee Soon Bee Neo and Chew Eng Guan.

Madam Wee Soon Bee Neo (the widow of the late Mr. Chew Swee Teong) passed away at the age of 72 at her residence 137 Carpmael Road. She leaves behind 2 sons, Chew (Chan) Eng Seng, Chew Eng Lin, 2 daughters, Mrs. Goh Teck Cheow, Mrs. Tan Seng Bee, 3 daughters-in-law, 4 sons-in-law, 4 sons-in-law, many gandchildren, Chew Keng Hian, Chew Keng Lam, Chew Kwee Hock and others.

Engagement was announced on 1 June 1947 between Mr. Chew Eng Lin (youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chew Swee Teong ) and Miss Annie Wee (only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wee Chye Teck).
