Mrs. Chua Hong Hin nee Madam Tan Gim Poh passed away at the age of 61 at 150-S, East Coast Road at 7:40 am on 9 June 1941. She leaves behind
2 daughters; Chua Eng Neo and Chua Bee Neo,
3 sons-in-law; Tan Whye Swee, Lim Cheng Chuan and Tan Beng Kee,
1 adopted son, Seow Kim Puan,
11 grandchildren to mourn her loss.
The family of the late Mrs. Chua Hong Hin thank friends and relatives who attended and sent wreaths and also to the members of the Singapore Buddhist Association for chanting the Buddhist Sutras.

From the marble tomb of Tan Gim Poh, the names of her children engraved are as follows;
Daughters: Chua Eng Neo, Chua Bee Neo
Grandson: Chua Chuan Seng
What is interesting also other than the fact marble stone is written in English, is the fact that the tomb mason made a very obvious mistake - they spelled Memory wrongly !
