Chua Boon Kow was the Funeral Superintendent for the Amateur Sporting Association. He also sits in the Straits Bachelors' Physical Culture Association. There is a Chua Boon Kow who was mentioned to be the Manager of the Mah Wah Book Manufacturers.
His wife should be Madam Ong Suat Cheow who passed away at the age of 91 on 27 July 1996.

Son: Chua Boon Lay
Chua Boon Lay (23 October 1902 – 4 October 1976 ) was a footballer who represented Singapore in the Malaya Cup between 1926 and 1937. He is regarded as one of the first two athletes from Singapore to take part in the Olympic Games when he represented China in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Chua Boon Lay, the S.C.F.A full-back was a Singapore Chinese footballer among the 22 players selected to represent China at the World Olympic games to be held in China in August 1936. A Soccer Legend, his friends used to call him "Towkay Ayam" because he used to run a poultry business at the old Telok Ayer Market.
Chua Boon Lay passed away at the age of 73 on 4 October 1976. He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, 1 daughter and 6 grandchildren. His elder son is named Berlin Chua (after the venue of the Olympic Games of 1936 where he played in).
