Amy Illovsky nee Amy Wong (former Bidadari Cemetery)

Mrs. Amy Illovsky nee Amy Wong (wife of Dr. Joseph Illovsky) passed away at the age of 31 (on tomb listed as 32 years) after a long illness at 4 Llyod Gardens near Middle Road, Singapore on 30 March 1951. She leaves behind her widow and 2 young children (Michael Illvosky and Katherine Illovsky). 

In 1940, Dr. Joseph Illovsky (Dr. J. Illovsky) was the Assistant Medical Officer attached to the Muar Hospital. During the Japanese occupation of Singapore, Dr. J. Illvosky (a Hungarian medical practitioner ) and E. E. Aviet where identified as the 2 residents doctors sent to to Bahau Farming Colony. In 1944 they accompanied Dr. C.J. Paglar there. 

In an article date 13 September 1948, Dr. Joseph Illovsky of 132 Middle Road applied to the Governor for naturalisation.  In 1956, he published a book title "How to Keep Fit in Tropics". That is all i have information of you at the moment.

132 Middle Road - Bedell-Illovsky Clinc. 

I gathered that 132 Middle Road was the Bedell-Illovsky Clinic that Dr. J. Illvosky. In 1945, there were looking for a Chinese Dispenser and an Indian Dispensary boy.

On 8 September 1948 - Amy, wife of Dr. J. Illvosky at Kandang Kerbau, a baby girl. This means that Katherine was only about 2 + years old when her mother passed away
