Low Peng Hong passed away at the age of 53 at No. 9-A, Rambai Road, off Kong Seng Road on 28 June 1935.

In a Straits Times article dated 28 June 1935, it was mentioned that Low Peng Hong passed away at the age of 53 and leaves behind a widow, a mother-in-law, 7 sons and 4 daughters, 2 daughters-in-law, 2 grandsons and 2 grand daughters. 


Husband: Mr Low Cheang Yee
Low Cheang Yee was born in Singapore and educated in Raffles Institution at the same time as Tan Kong Wee, Seow Cue Mee and Lim Thean Geow (Dr Lim Boon Keng's father). A prominent Teochew leader, Low Cheang Yee was in the Chinese Advisory Board (1897) and Po Leung Kuk. His respected business dealings with the Europeans made him to be selected as a committee member of the Straits Chinese British Association in 1900. Low Cheang Yee died at the age of 67 in Swatow China in 1915. (refer to Geni.com)
