I was fascinated when Soh Ah Beng showed me a photo of a tomb he posted on facebook way back in 2017. It was a tomb of a chinese man from Kinmen buried in Lao Sua. His name translated could be Koh Seng Kway. The most interesting thing for me is that the tomb shape reminds me of a batu nisan (the tombstone design often used in Muslim cemeteries) except for the fact that he is not buried in a muslim cemetery but a chinese one. Unfortunately there is no date engraved on the tomb but the tombs nearby which are simple and modest are from the 1922 timeframe. A simple tomb but very rare as this the first i seen in this area.
