Sng Leng Chai passed away at the age of 72 on 26 September 1939. His ceramic photos with him wearing a bow tie draws you in to try find out more and below his altar table the numbers 1478 and 1939 are prominently visible. 1478 represents the plot number while 1939 is the year he passed on.
