Yeo Tiong Wee cluster (former Yeo Clan Telok Blangah Cemetery)

Yeo Tiong Wee passed away on 14 November 1924. The cortege left from 122 Albert Street to Senh Yeo Thiong Burial, Telok Blangah. I don't have much information about Mr. Yeo Tiong Wee other than the ones already highlighted that Yeo Tiong Wee was a poor chinese migrant who married a wealthy heiress, Tan Ja Dee Neo. They later moved to Singapore in the 1890's and set up a batik business in Arab Street. In 1932, Madam Tan Ja Dee was reported to have bought also the land and house of No. 172, Arab Street (1,105 sq ft) for $14,200.
