The fig has engulfed the marble headstone of Madam Neo Lian Eng to a state that it makes it difficult to remove it anymore. In another couple of years, her tombstone will be completely gone. We cut what we can of its strangling vines so that we document her tomb for one last time. This may be the last of her memory.
Madam Neo Liang Eng passed away on 3 December 1927 at the age of 43.
