Mobile field guide on Birds of Singapore.

Finally, a mobile field guide specifically on Birds of Singapore is now available. This is made possible with the hard work of Nature Society (Singapore) for iphone users (sorry android users, no android version yet). This is available via the itunes store.

Available are 375 species and over 500 photographs of Singapore birds.

Below are some of the screen shots after i downloaded the app. Some of this species come with an audio recording of that bird, which is very helpful especial for birders trying to do identification via sound. This is indeed a neat app and helps do away the need to bring a field guide if you are not spotting waders.
