Khoo Yang Tin was a rice trader and was a Director of the Chinese Commercial Bank where other prominent chinese pioneers were in the Board of Directors. They included Mr. Lee Choon Guan (Chairman), Dr. Lim Boon Keng (Vice-Chairman), Lim Nee Soon, S.Q. Wong, Lee Kong Chian and many others over the years. With his wealth, he also bought many land all over Singapore.
Khoo Yang Tin passed away at the age of 87 at his residence, 358 River Valley Road on 25 December 2603 (1943). He is survived by;

Mrs. Khoo Yang Tin nee Yeo Kim Chiam passed away at age of 102 on 29 March 1983. The cortege left from 358 River Valley Road for Bright Hill Crematorium.

Khoo Teck Soon and Khoo Teck Chuan have for many years being associated with the United Chinese Bank. Khoo Teck Soon passed away at the age of 82 on 13 May 1984 leaving behind his wife, Madam Chia Swee Eng and many children, grandchildren.

There are managed published articles about Khoo Teck Puat so will not repeat. Essentially he was a businessman with investment interest in banking, hotels, property, etc. The Goodwood group of hotels and his significant stake in Standard Chartered Bank made him the richest man in Singapore with a networth of US$4.3 billion. The Khoo Teck Puat Hospital is named after him. One of his sons, Eric Khoo is a film director and producer.

The grave of Khoo Yang Thin and his two wives Madam Yeo and Madam Tan
Khoo Yang Tin stayed at Hai Teng Province Sin Aun village. He has helped his home country many times and received honors and awards.
His has also contributed countless time to charity. Khoo established his network in Penang and Yangon. All his sons are capable and helped in business.
He retired and enjoyed his later life, surrounded by his grandchildren.
His wife Madam Yeo was a gentle and courteous woman, so is Madam Tan. His philosophy of filial piety, loyalty, honesty, thrift, respect has been well practiced by the later generations. The epigraph was engraved in honor of his parents by his son, Khoo Teck Soon
