We started cleaning up what was once the triple tomb of 2 women (Madam Lim Kiam Neo and Madam Lim Chye Hiah) and their husband, Mr. Yeo Cheow Bock. The middle tomb however seems exhumed and we found remnants of the headstone which belong to their husband, Mr. Yeo Cheow Bock. In short it it was a triple tomb of Yeo Cheow Bock and Madam Lim Kiam Neo and Madam Lim Chye Hiah.
Yeo Cheow Bock passed away at the age of 57 on 3 August 1937. A newspaper article conveys the thanks from Mrs. Yeo Cheow Bock and Mr. and Mrs. Yeo Kiat Seng of Pulau Bukom to those who send gifts and visited.

Unique decorations
The beautiful blue hue used on the two side panels of the exhumed tomb of Mr. Yeo Cheow Bock remind me of the blue used in the old Straits Chinese or Peranakan homes of the NUS Baba House at Neil Road and the Blue Mansion, Penang (Cheong Fatt Tze). Maybe the blue was selected for that purpose, after all it is the house of the after life.
