Mrs. Ong Poh nee Madam Low Lye Neo (Seh Ong)

Madam Low Lye Neo passed away at the age of 78 at 9:30pm on 25 May 1928. The address mentioned in the newspapers was 305, River Valley Road. She is the wife of the late Mr. Ong Poh. She leaves behind;
2 sons: Ong Keng Et, Ong Tiong Chan
1 daughter: Mrs. Wee Lip Hean
13 grandchildren and 1 granddaughter-in-law and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral to Senh Ong burial ground took place on 29 May 1928.

Family 

Son: Ong Keng Eet (died 7 February 1942 age 64).
Ong Keng Eet was a committee member of the Gunong Sayang Association. On May 1941, Oversea Chinese Banking too a summons on Ong Keng Ee. It was from this summons i figured out his occupation was a Contractor. 

Their descendants recounted the story while during the burial ceremony at Bukit Brown for Ong Keng Eet, Japanese fighter or bomber planes flew overhead and Ong Keng Eet's grandchildren briefly took refuge in the newly dug grave to avoid the possibility of bombs hitting them.


Daughter: Mrs. Wee Lip Hean nee Mrs. Wee Lip Hean.
Madam Ong Sim Neo (the late Mrs. Wee Lip Hean) passed away at the age of 70 on 22 December 1953 at her residence, No 104 Clementi Road, leaving behind her second son, Mr. Wee Whi Lock, 1 daughter, 1 son-in-law, 2 daughters-in-law, 1 grandson-in-law, several grandchildren and 1 great grandchild to mourn her loss.

Grandson: Ong Eng Hin 
The engagement was announced of Mr. Ong Eng Hin (eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ong Keng Eet ) to Miss Yap Soh Tuan (only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Yap Teow Hong. The marriage took place on 2 December 1924.

Yap Soh Tuan, formerly living at No. 305 River Valley Road hereby give notice that since Sept. 3, 1934, that she had not been living with my husband, Ong Eng Hin nor any no longer under his protection and control (The Straits Times, 2 April 1935, page 2)

Grandson: Ong Eng Tee
The engagement was announced on 13 May 1951 between Ong Eng Tee ( second son of the late Mr. Ong Keng Eet and Madam Lim Joo Neo) and Miss Quek Meaw Kee ( 4th daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Quek Yong Pow.
 
Grandson: Ong Eng Poh 
The engagement was announced on the 28 October 1951) between Ong Eng Poh, (youngest son of Madam Lim Joo Neo and the late Mr. Ong Keng Eet) and Miss Gan Cheng Toh, Betty (youngest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Gan Teng Eng.
