Yeo Phee Teck (Kopi Sua)

The headstone of Yeo Phee Teck is simple and as tilted slightly forward. After clearing the moss from his tomb, i could make out his name; 

Mr. Yeo Phee Teck 

Died: 30th December 1949

Age 65 Years

Fatal Accident 

Yeo Phee Teck died due to a fatal accident when he was knocked down by a motor car at Changi Road, near the Geylang Serai market on 30th December 1949 at 3:45 pm.

I can't be exactly sure who Yeo Phee Teck is, but i found several articles around the timeline that mention this name.

Mrs. Yeo Hock Cheng (nee Chua Chin Neo) passed away at the age of 66 at her residence, No. 19 Owen Road on 24 February 1937. She leaves behind 5 sons; Yeo Phee Teck, Yeo Phee Jin, Yeo Phee Kiat, Yeo Phee Cheow and Yeo Phee Yam, 3 daughters, 6 daughters-in-law, 2 sons-in-law, Moo Soo San and Chia Choo Seah and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Madam Chua Chin Neo is buried in Bukit Brown
