A huge palm oil tree growing out behind a headstone caught my eye. On closer inspection, indeed a tomb was there and the huge palm oil tree has grown from behind the tomb mound. However a major part of the marble headstone has broken off. A search on the ground failed to find the missing pieces....but fortunately, some key clues remained ! This is what i could make out;

Very fortunately, the plot number, his gender and rough age, and remains of the month made my search easy and i am able to find a name to the person buried there but unfortunately, no more details about the person himself for now.
Ewe Yen Hee or Ewe Yin Hee was buried in Bukit Brown on 22 November 1933. He was 36 years old when he passed away.
