Madam Yap Siew Eng (Bukit Brown)

The marble headstone broke and part of the shoulder damaged. Also one part of the tombstone was badly damaged by  probably a fallen tree in the past. Fortunately, for Madam Yap Siew Eng, i am able to trace who are her descendants. We also clean up her tombstone and if you watch the Youtube video below you can see the effort put in. 

 

Madam Yap Siew Eng passed away at the age of 63 on 3 March 1934.

Madam Yap Siew Eng's husband is Mr. Oh Kay Choy. 

Members of the Amicable Athletic Association will learn with regret of the death of Madam Yap Siew Eng (the beloved grandmother of Mr. Lim Cheng Hong) which occurred at her residence, 579 Kampong Bahru Road.

The marriage was announced to take place on April 1925 of Mr. Oh Ah Pin (the only son of the late Mr. Oh Kah Choy) to Miss Wee Siang Neo (youngest daughter of Mr. Wee Yah Joo). 

Oh Ah Pin was the Asst. Superintendent of the Funeral Branch of the Lion City Club (1932)

Oh Ah Pin passed away at the age of 77 on 5 June 1971 at 52 Meyappa Chettiar Road Singapore leaving behind his wife.

3 Daughters: Oh Poh Neo, Oh Kim Neo and Oh Chai Tee

daughter-in-law, 2 sons-in-law, 17 grandchildren, 1 grandson-in-law and 2 granddaughters-in-law.

Madam Wee Siang Neo (Mrs. Oh Ah Pin) passed away at the age of 83 at 18 October 1986 leaving behind;

The engagement was announced on October 1949 between Mr. Oh Hock Cheng (son of Mr. and Mrs. Oh Ah Pin and Miss Nancy Wee (second daughter of Madam Tan Gee Neo and the late Mr. Wee Cheng Eng. 

Peter Oh Hock Cheng passed away at the age of 69 on 3 March 1997. He leaves behind
