Loh Teik Lim / Loh Teck Lim

Interestingly i could not find the entry of Loh Teik Lim if i searched on the burial registrar based on the date 5 Jan 1938. However, eventually found an entry of Loh Teck Lim, who passed away at the age of 58 on 15 February 1937 at Block 4 Section A, 930.  In short, there is a discrepancy in the death dates, but the location and plot number matches.

Possible connection assuming based on time line era.

Huge Chinese Brankruptcies  - Deficiences of over a million
Defencies totalling over a million dollars was reported in the bankruptcy of Yew Teck and Company, sharebrokers, rubber and jelutong merchants. The firm principal partners were Yap Yeow Teck and Seah Eng Woon (after Ng Yian Gwek who is the wife of Seah Eng Woon sold her shares to him in 1918) incorporated the firm in 1914 with a capital of $1000 but went bankrupt in 1922 with liabilities amounting to $407, 807.48 and assets of $1,000. The report also revealed that they had been bankrupt before with Seah Eng Woon liabilities amounting to $628,000 and Yap Yeow Teck labilities $50,000.  Loh Teck Lim became a partner in 1919 as he was supposed to be an expert refiner and he had a secret process. In one of the judgements, the court sentence Loh Teck Lim to 3 weeks imprisonment for contumacy, giving crooked answers and flouting the Court.

(1922) Loh Teck Lim was the vice-president of the Gayland Funeral Assocation.
