Chia Ek Kee passed away on 11 August 1939 at the age of 62,

From what i could gather, Chia Ek Kee was a Cashier with the Municipal Government. From an article dated 1906, it was reported that with effect from 1st July 1906, Cashier Chia Ek Kee will draw a salary of $50 a month.
The tomb itself has not been visited and maintained and yet on 23 May 2026 i was pleasantly surprised that it was clean up and now visible and no longer overgrown. I found out that a kind hearted person actually cleared the tomb this year.

Chia Geok Wan was possibility a staff of the K.P.M Koninklijke Paketvaart Maatschappij or Dutch for Royal Packet Navigation Company.
Chia Geok Wan passed away on 6 July 1965.
Son: Chia Geok Teck
Chia Geok Teck (son of Mr. and Mrs. Chia Ek Kee) married Seow Seok Neo (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seow Nghee Seng) on 16 October 1938 at the Poh Soo Association, Cantonment Road, Singapore.
Joseph Chia Geok Teck passed away on 5 July 1973.
Mary Seow Seok Neo passed away at the age of 77 on 31 October 2001
Daughter: Chia Paok Neo / Chia Pok Neo / Lim Pok Neo
The marriage took place at the Chinese Consulate on 22 May 1937 between Mr. Tan Bong og S.O.L Miri, (only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tan Beow Chan of Klang) and Miss Chia/Lim Pok Neo (youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chia Ek Kee and adopted daughter of Mr. Lim Siew San and the late Mrs. Lim Siew San).
Grandson: Chia Soo Hock
The engagement is announced between Mr. Chia Soo Hock (eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Chia Geok Wan) and Miss Florence Wong (second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wong Siew Leong) on September 1950.
