Tan Geok Ee nee Mrs. Lim Swee Guan (Bukit Brown)

Madam Tan Geok Ee (wife of the late Mr. Lim Swee Guan ) passed away peacefully on the 4th July 2602 (1942) at her residence No 29 Marshall Road leaving behind 4 sons, Lim Chin Kuan, Lim Chin Moh, Lim Chin Wah and Lim Chin Lam, 6 daughters, 3 sons-in-law, Meesrs. Chan Teck Hin, Lee Kim Poon, Tan Swee Hee, 31 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. 

There was mention of a birthday party for Mr. Lim Swee Guan at 39 Moulmein in 1920 where over  500 people attended (including a large number of Europeans). After dinner, there was a cinema display in the spacious gardens of the residence which was beautifully lit and decorated. An orchestra provided music for dancing. Mr. Lim Swee Guan passed away at the age of 76 at No. 39 Moulmein Road, Singapore on 2 August 1925. He is the father of Mr. Lim Chin Kuan. Lim Swee Guan is survived by his widow, 4 sons, 7 daughters and 20 grandchildren. He is buried in Alexandra Road Cemetery.

Lim Chin Kuan (son of Mr. Lim Swee Guan, of Messrs. Kim Kiat and Co,) married Miss Koh Geok Puan (3rd daughter of the late Mr. Koh San Chuan of Malacca) in 1916

The engagement is announced of Mr. Lim Chin Wah (fourth son of the late Mr. Lim Swee Guan and Mrs. Lim Swee Guan) to Miss Ee Siew Cheng Neo (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ee Yean Kiat) on 22 November 1934. 

Madam Mary Ee Siew Cheng Neo (wife of the late Mr. Lim Chin Wah) passed away at the age of 77 on 26 December 1983. She leaves behind;
4 sons: Freddy Li, Khek Chinag, Arthur Lim Khek Kian, Felix Lim Khek Ann, Jeffrey Lim Khek Chiew
Daughters: Sister Dolores Lim (Elsie)
Daughters-in-law: Joyce Chua Choon Luan, Mok Oi May, Pauline Chia Chor Siang, Joan Cong Chor Hwa and 5 grandchildren to mourn her loss. 
The cortege left from 28 Jalan Keris for Service at Holy Family Church.

The festivities in connection with the wedding of the sister of Mr. Lim Chin Kuan to Mr. Lee Kin Poon were ushered in with a dinner to which 500 people were invited, given by Mr. Lim Chin Kuan at his residence, 39 Moulmein Road, Singapore. After the banquet, the ronggeng which is from Penang was danced. (22 Oct 1919)

Daughter: Lim Choo Neo /Mrs. Tan Swee Hee
Lim Choo Neo married Tan Swee Hee. Tan Swee Hee passed away at the age of 81 on 7th December 1978. He is survived by his wife, Madam Lim Choo Neo, only daughter, Alice Tan, son-in-law; George Lee Eng Koon, 2 grand daughters; Mrs. Linda Lee Goh and Miss Lydia Lee, granadson-in-law; Francos Goh Tien Kee and only grandson-in-law, Alexander Mark Goh.
