Tay Guan Chuan passed away at the age of 20. His tomb is very interesting because it showcases the original marble headstone as well as the one that was subsequently remade (upgraded years later). The original marble headstone was cemented to one side of its tomb arm and after cleaning away the moss and chalking it, it provides additional information such as his dialect (Hokien), date of birth (21-7-1923), plot number (1152) and his date of death follows the Japanese koki calendar (6 November 2603 or 1943 following the Gregorian calendar).
The remade tomb provides his ceramic photographer and date of death following the modern chinese calendar and Gregorian calendar.
