We often seen tombs but how are they built from a material culture prospective. There are some that were built as crypts with brick walls surrounding the coffin. While exploring Greater Bukit Brown, we came across an exhumed tomb with the headstone long gone. Taking a closer look, you can make out the walls surrounding tomb and possible remnants of the wood from the coffin.
