Tan Eng Hai (Bukit Brown)

Tan Eng Hai passed away at the age of 51 on 27 January 1934. Listed on his tomb are the name of his children;

Sons: Tan Quee Hock, Tan Quee Leng

Daughters: Tan Guat Eng, Tan Guat Yang, Tan Guat Poh, Tan Guat Yean

Granddaughter: Tan Chui Lian

Tan Quee Hock and Tan Quee Leng and family thanked members of the Rovers Badminton Party, Devonshire Badminton Party, The Wallaks Party, the Devonshire Badminton Party, Staffs of Rotterdam Llyod and Office of General Hospital for the funeral of the late Mr. Tan Eng Hai 

Father: Tan Tiang Choon (this is not confirmed but a possible connection)

Tan Quee Leng (younger son of the late Mr. Tan Eng Hai and Mrs. Tan Eng Hai) married Miss Koh Hong Neo (younger daughter of Mr and Mrs. Koh Tian Kit0 on January 1935.
