Sng Puan Hay passed away on 15 August 2604 (1944) at 422, Balestier Road. His son, Sng Koe Hoe (A.P. No 1094) thanked the Auxillary Police Force of the "E" Division Section 6, the M.A.S. Force of "B" Division, Section , friends and relatives who sent wreaths, letters of condolence, cars, lorries, etc and those who attended the night visits and funeral on 17 August 2604 (1944).

In the newspapers archives, Sng Koey Hoe was often associated with the Clerical Union (he was the Soccer Captain) and the Balestier Friendly Athletic Party. Post war there was a notice by Sng Koey Hoe of 422 Balestier Road applying for Beer license in respect to the ground floor of 422 Balestier Road.
Sng Koey Hoe passed away on 18 December 1976. His wife, Madam Seet Ghee Neo is the daughter of Mr. Seet Tian Seng and Madam Tan Poon Neo ). She passed away at the age of 76 on 28 April 1987. It is thanks to her obituary notice, we can map further their family tree.
