The marble is broken in many places, but fortunately able to see the names of his children and underneath the altar table, part name and plot number is still visible. Lim Hak Jee passed away at the age of 57 on 26 November 1933 at 6 am at his residence, 554 Geylang Road.
He leaves behind a widow,
5 sons; Lim Tat Jin, Lim Tat Ghee, Lim Tat Lay, Lim Tat Sin
4 daughters
2 sons-in-law; Koh Thian Seng and Khoo Peck Kim
1 daughter-in-law and 9 grandchildren.

The family of the late Mr. Lim Hak Jee acknowledged a number of parties for their night visits, wreaths, etc such as Asiatic staffs of Messrs, Mansfield & Co. Ltd., Straits Steamship Co., Ltd., Messrs. Sission & Delay, Eastern Extension A. & C. Telegraph Co., Ltd., members of Unison and Solar Badminton.
