Mrs. Wee Ng Yew nee Choo Lian Neo (Bukit Brown)

Mrs. Wee Ng Yew nee Choo Lian Neo passed away at the age of 30 and was buried in Bukit Brown on 14 September 1933.

The marble in front of the altar table is missing but fortunately her children name are listed on her tomb shoulder. Listed on her tomb are her children;

Sons: Wee Chuan Chye, Wee Chuan Boon

Daughters: Wee Geok Neo

Mrs. Wee Ng Yew nee Choo Lian Neo

It was reported on 13 September 1933 papers that Mr. Wee Ng Yew's wife passed away, and members of the Lian Kee Kok Association were requested to do the night visit at 6, Lorong M, Teluk Kurau. 

With this information and the children's name, it gives me a bit more confidence to infer that Madam Choo Lian Neo who passed away at the age of 30 is the wife of Mr. Wee Ng Yew.

After Madam Choo Lian Neo passed away, Mr. Wee Ng Yew remarried. He passed away around September 1964. Wee Geok Neo, Wee Chuan Boon and family express their heartfelt gratitude to Venerable Mahaweera of Mangala Vihara, relatives and friend  for their kind assistance and comforting expressions of sympathy, contributions, wreaths and attendance to the funeral of late father, Mr. Wee Ng Yew.

Reported in the papers on 11 July 1960, Mr. Stanley Wee Chuan Boon offering a piece of wedding cake to his bride, the former Miss Nancy Chia Siew Hong at the reception held after their wedding. The bridgegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wee Ng Yew while the bride is the daughter of Madam Tang Kim Neo.
