The engagement was announced in September 1931 between Mr. Wee Guan Hong (eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wee Teng Hock of 9 Nassim Road, Tanglin) and Miss Josephine Tan (only daughter of Mr. Tan Cheng Kee, J.P. and proprietor of Alhambra and Marlborough Theatres, Beach Road). The marriage took place in November 1935 at the Church of St. Teresa, Kampong Bahru of Mr. Wee Guan Hong (son of Mr. and Mrs. Wee Tiam Hock) and Miss Josephine Tan (daughter of Mr. Tan Cheng Kee, J.P and niece of Mrs. Lee Choon Guan, M.B.E.

Joseph Wee Guan Hong passed away at the age of 78 on 28 November 1967. He leaves behind;

Wee Woon Leong (second son of Mr. and Mrs. Wee Teng Hock) got engaged to Miss Tan Lian Neo (eldesr daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tan Yang Lim) in July 1946. Wee Woon Leong married Lilian Tan Lian Neo (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tan Yang Lim) and from their union they have 2 sons; Michael Wee Ban Chye and Ronald Wee Ban Lim.

Son: Wee Meng Puay

Wee Meng Puay (youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wee Teng Hock) got engaged to Miss Lily Yeo (the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Yeo Siew Chuan) in March 1944. 

Wee Meng Puay passed away on 6 March 1998. From his obituary notice;
