Wee Beng Seck passed away at the age of 68 in General Hospital on 2 March 1948. He leaves behind his wife, Madam Tan Chuan Neo, 2 sons; Wee Cheng Hock and Wee Cheng Lee, 2 daughters-in-law, 2 adopted daughters, 2 adopted sons-in-law; Tan Chwee Tan and Low Tin Moi, 1 brother; Wee Beng Tat, 1 sister; Wee Cheng Neo, several grandchildren. From the obituary notice, the funeral took place on 4 March 1948 at Whitley Road (Hokkien Kongsi)

Wee Beng Seck tomb is a simple tomb with marble headstone and brick shoulders. Visible is the plot number, 28. it is located at the ridge of Kopi Sua facing the road heading towards the tombkeeper shed coming in from Mount Pleasant.
