Madam Chia Gin Tee nee Mrs. Chan Cheng Wah passed away at the age of 80 at her residence, No. 12 Lorong 22, Geylang Road on 7 February 1937. She leaves behind 3 sons, Chan Koon Leong, Chan Koon Bee and Chan Koon Teck, 3 daughters-in-law, 2 sons-in-law, Mr. Cheang Jim Chuan and Mr. Tan Soo Jin and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Chan Koong Leong passed away at the age of 61 at his home, No. 12 Lorong 22 Geylang on 14 Jan 1948. He is survived by his wife, 2 brothers (Chan Koon Bee and Chan Koon Teck), 5 sons, ( Chan Kwang Cheng, Chan Chieu Kim, Chan Chieu Yeam, Chan Chieu Hwa and Chan Chieu Kiat), only daughter, son-in-law, 3 daughters-in-law and several grandchildren. 

Daughter: Chan Kim Hong Neo

Madam Chan Kim Hong Neo, passed away on March 1, 1934 her residence, "Rivieria" 112 Pasir Panjang Road at the age of 58.She leaves behind her husband, Mr. Cheang Jim Chuan, two sons, Cheang Theam Chu and Cheang Theam Kee, 4 daughters, two son-in-laws, Dr Cheong Chee Hai, Woon Chow Tat, 3 daughters-in-law, 14 grandchildren.

Grandsons: Chan Chieu Kim

Graduated from Raffles College in 1937, he went to join the Education Department as a teacher and taught in Gan Eng Seng and Serangoon English. He went to become senior master and Acting Principal at Raffles Institution. Chan Chieu Kim was appointed in 1958 as the Civil Defence Commissioner. 

One of his son, Michael Chan Chew Koon 6 March 1940 - 21 January 2006) was The Right Honourable - The Lord Chan of Oxton or Baron Chan. The title is a non-hereditary one. (see: wikipedia ; Royal College of Physicians).
