The tomb of Goh Kong Yam in Lao Sua is interesting because other than the fact it has English etched on it, it also list her daughter name very clearly in a western style naming convention, Miss G. K. Neo.
The tomb reads;
In Memory of Goh Kong Yam Who died Age 36 Years 27th July 1913.
