Seah Kim Chuan (Bukit Brown)

Seah Kim Chuan (listed as Seah Kim Chwa in the burial records) was buried in Bukit Brown on 10 November 1931. Seah Kim Chuan was 15 years old.  The teochew tomb with beautiful decorative tiles is a strong testament of his parents love for him. The tomb of Master Seah Kim Chuan was covered for many years and it was only recently we managed to partially clear it of the undergrowth that has covered it. Who are his parents ? I have no idea and maybe i will never know.

[Post note: Khoo Ee Hoon left a comment that the address in the burial registrar for Seah Kim Chwa is listed as 253 River Valley Road which happens to be the same last mentioned address of Mrs. Seah Eng Khoon nee Yeo Soon Im who passed away on 14 September 1930. The ancestral village matches the one of Seah Eu Chin. There is a possibility that this boy could be related to the Seah Eu Chin family, a point highlighted by Raymond Goh when we cleared this tomb also. The 253 River Valley Road address is currently the Nanyang Sacred Union]
