Sim Ah Tee passed away at the age of 44 on the 21st day of the 8th Chinese Moon the Bow Eng Year corresponding to the English the 14th October 1938. From the burial registrar, Mr. Sim Ah Tee i know that he is a Teochew. The tomb construction design was more of a Hokkien style.
