Cho Pek Ghay (late of Messrs. Rodyk & Davidson) passed away at the age of 75 at No. 300 Geylang Road, Singapore on 28 April 1941. He leaves behind;
3 sons: Cho Peck Khye, Cho Kwee Khye, Cho Hock Khye,
2 daughters: Cho Tew Neo, Cho Siew Neo
2 sons-in-law, 2 daughters-in-law and 11 grandchildren.
Grandsons: Cho Denny Khye, Cho John
Granddaughter: Cho A. Lee
In the burial registrar, Cho Pek Ghay dialect is listed as Hokkien.

Cho Peck Khye was a vice-president of the Pheng Sim Kok (1933) and a Committee member of the Samboe Clerk's Club

An interesting article dated 30 January 1936 gave insight that Cho Hock Khye of 300 Geylang Road shared 3rd price of $25 for a competition.
Grandson: Cho Denny Khye
Cho Denny Khye was an assistant food controller up to 21 May 1921.
