Khoo Teng Whatt passed away at the age of 28 on 4 April 1940. In the burial registrar his dialect was listed as Hokkien.
I suspect that Khoo Teng Whatt maybe a son of Mr. and Mrs. Khoo Boo Yeow based on a number of theories. The province they come from are the same and surname the same. Of course this was not the only factors. When Khoo Boo Yeow passed away in 1933, his son name Khoo Teng Whatt was still mentioned. However when Mrs. Khoo Boo Yeow nee Madam Lee Lian Oay passed away in 1949, Khoo Teng Whatt name was no longer mentioned.
