Teo Nye Chan and family (Bukit Brown)

Teo Nye Chan passed away at his residence in No 137 Moulmein on 23 June 1937. He leaves behind his wife (Madam Tan Seok Neo) and 2 sons, Teo Kah Toh, Teo Way Kow, several daughters and many grandchildren.

Teo Nye Chan passed away at the age of 74 on 23 June 1937.

I believe Teo Way Kow was an employee of the Eastern United Assurance Corporation Ltd. Singapore. 

An interesting article i found dated 29 August 1947 was that Teo Way Kow was the Hon. Auditor of The Pun Kio Joo Lim Association who is Registered by the Registrar of Societies. The membership of this Association is confined to male persons bearing the surname of Teo resident in the Colony of Singapore, whose parents are ancestors form Pun Kio village situated in the Tong Ann district of Hokkien Province.

Tan Hu Nam (son of the late Mr. Tan Keng Kian and Mrs. Tan) to Miss Yeo Hock Neo (daughter of the late Mr. Teo Way Kow and Mrs. Teo) on 1 May 1964.
