Neo Pee Wan and family (Bukit Brown)

The beautiful tomb with decorative tiles in Hill 4 Division C, plot 1342 belongs to Mr and Mrs Neo Pee Wan. Mrs Neo Pee Wan nee Madam Peck Imm Neo alias Kerchee passed away at the age of 47 on 26 April 1939  while Mr Neo Pee Wan passed away at the age of 70 on 14 February 14, 1958. From the tomb, the names of their children:
Sons: Neo Poh Chuan, Neo Poh Choon, Neo Poh Cheng, Neo Poh Chong
Daughters: Neo Ann Neo, Neo Poh Neo
Grandsons: Soon Howe, Soon Kim, Soon Heng, Soon Chye
Grand-daughters: Lian Neo, Sok Cheng, Sok Yee, Seok Gek

The funeral of Mrs. Neo Pee Wan nee Madam Peck Imm Neo alias Kerchee took place on Sunday from her residences, 35-C, Everitt Road off Joo Choo Place to Bukit Brown. Among those who send wreaths, were Neo Pee Teck. (It is from this and blog mentions that Neo Pee Wan and Neo Pee Teck are likely brothers).

The obituary notice of Nee Peo Wan lists that he passed away on the morning of 14th February 1958 in his residence at 22 Cassia Drive, Raffles Park at the age of 69. He is survived by his sons;  Neo Poh Chuan, Neo Poh Choon, Neo Poh Cheng, Neo Poh Chong, daughters; Mrs. Khoo Eng Watt, Mrs. Tan Kim Siew, 3 daughter-in-laws, 11 grandchildren and a prospective grandson-in-law, Kwek Gim Wah.

I do not have much information about Neo Pee Wan, but i came across this group picture of Wardens (likely Air Raid Wardens' or A.R.F) of Post 16, Group 1, "F" Division from a 1941 article. Among them was a Neo Pee Wan.

The engagement was announced in 1948 between Neo Poh Chuan (son of Mr. Neo Pee Wan and the late Mrs. Neo Pee Wan) to Miss Nellie Leong (daughter of Mrs Leong Hong Cheong and the late Mr. Leong Hong Cheong).

Son: Neo Poh Cheng
On 14 March 1949, at the marriage registry in Kuala Lumpur, Mr. Neo Poh Cheng (third son of son of Mr. Neo Pee Wan and the late Mrs. Neo Pee Wan) to Miss Nonnie Goh Kim Heh (only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Goh Cheng Chye of Kuala Lumpur).

Son: Neo Poh Chong 
Neo Poh Chong, (youngest son of Mr. Neo Pee Wan and the late Mrs. Neo Pee Wan) to Miss Dolly Kwek (youngest daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Kwek Loon.

Daughter: Neo Ann Neo / Anne Neo Ann Neo nee Mrs Khoo Eng Watt
Neo Ann Neo (eldest daughter of Mr. Neo Pee Wan and Mrs. Neo Pee Wan) married Mr. Khoo-Goh Eng Watt, (adopted son of the late Mr. Goh Choon Tye and Mrs. Goh Choon Tye). Mrs. Khoo Eng Watt nee Anne Neo Ann Neo passed away on 20th November 1989.

Daughter:Neo Poh Neo
The marriage of Tan Kim Siew (2nd son of Mr. Tan Chin Swee and the late Mrs. Tan Chin Swee) to Miss Neo Poh Neo (2nd daughter of Mr. Neo Pee Wan and the late Mrs. Neo Pee Wan) took place on 5th September 1946.
