The newspaper article states that Madam Chee Keow Joo passed away at the age of 74 at Malacca. She leaves behind a son, Ong Kok Chiang, an adopted son, Chee Bay Hoon, daughters, Mrs. Tan Peng Eng and Mrs. Lim Teck Kim and several grandchildren. Cortege left from her residence, No. 75-A Devonshire Road for Seh Ong Tiong burial ground.
Mr. Ong Cheng Tam passed away at the age of 55 on 21nd September 1944 at his residence, No 75-A, Devonshire, leaving behind his wife, his only son; Ong Kek Chiang, 3 daughters; Ong Bin Teck, Ong Bin Kim and Ong Bin Neo, two sons-in-law; Tan Peng Eng and Lim Teck Kim. The location listed in the papers where Ong Cheng Tam was buried was at the Ong's Family Burial Ground on 23 September 1944. The newspapers also gave special mention to thank the Staff of Fudosan Shtoku Zei Kakari and the Staff of the Zaimuka, Headquarters Revenue Collecting, for their wreaths and night visit.

Ong Kok Chiang got engaged to Miss Lim Soh Khoon (eldest daughter of Madam Tan Geok Eng and the late Mr. Lim Say Bian in December 1947. Ong Kok Chiang passed away at the age of 74 on 4th December 1992. Their children:

Sons-in-laws; Raymond Chin, Michael Hsi, Don Collat
Granchildren; Celine Chin, Daryl Chin, Zachary Hsi
Madam Lim Soh Khoon passed away on 16th February 2007 at the age of 81.
Daughter: Ong Bin Kim / Mrs. Tan Peng Eng
Miss Ong Bin Kim married Mr. Tan Peng Eng (son of Mr. and Mrs. Tan Kok Cheng) at the Chinese Consulate, Singapore in January 1936. Tan Peng Eng, a staff of Messrs, B Etlin and Co. passed away at the age of 43 at his home in Devonshire on 24th October 1948. He is survived by his wife, 3 sons and and only daughter. According to the newspapers, he was cremated.
