While researching on their children, i found out that Ong Seng Kit, Ong Seng Wee and Ong Seng Kay all worked for the Singapore Harbour Board (S.H.B). Their father, Ong Siang Lin very likely worked for its predecessor, Tanjong Pagar Docks. (T.P.D.)

Family

Her husband, Ong Siang Lim passed away sometime in August 1911. The newspaper mentions that the funeral of the late Mr. Ong Siang Lim, father of Ong Seng Kit took place at the Bukit Timah Road Cemetery. Son: Ong Seng Thong
I do not have much information about Ong Seng Thong. I can however make a connection based on an obituary notice of Madam Lim Swee Gek (wife of the late Mr. Ong Seng Thong) who passed away on 3rd July 1985.  She is survived by 1 son, Ong Choon Hoe, 5 daughters (Ong Whatt Neo, Jenny, Ong Kim Neo, Ong Heng Neo, Lilian, Ong Guat Neo, Lily and Ong Ah Nya). Some of the daughters name match the granddaughters name on Madam Tan Chye Luan's tomb - Whatt Neo, Kim Neo, Heng Neo, Guat Neo (too much of a coincidence not to ignore).

Son: Ong Seng Kay (1899-1996)
The engagement is announced and the marriage will take place on 18 July 1929, at 376-B Teluk Blangah Road of Mr. Ong Seng Kay (nephew of Mr. Ong Siang Whatt, and youngest son of Mrs. Ong Siang Lin) to Miss Chia Chwee Lian, the only daughter of Mrs. Chia Tiang Swee.  Ong Seng Kay was a supervisor  with the Dock Accounts office for the Singapore Harbour Board
