Chee Boon Eng family cluster (Bukit Brown)

You will not miss this cluster of tombs if you are exploring Bukit Brown Hill 3 Division B. The cluster of 5 tombstones close to the road that was recently cleaned and gold paint applied on the headstones, are close to each other and may seem strange at first, but on closer inspection you will notice that this tombs have been exhumed from its former location at brought to Bukit Brown for reburial. In fact a marble plaque at the back confirms this. You will also noticed that the space between the tombstones are closer and there are no space for large mounts behind it because in this case after the exhumation, the remains or bones were placed in large urns before reburial. This Chee family cluster of tombs and 2 tombs behind, belong to Chee Soon Keng and and his mother and family. Chee Soon Keng and her mother, Madam Tan Suan Neo were also recently clean and pictures changed.
