Ang Kok Kian was the managing partner of Chop See Sian of No. 555 Havelok Road and No 9 Nankin Street. The company manufactures all kinds of soaps that is sold in the Straits Settlement, the Federated Malay States and other countries. This included the Nai Beng & Co. -Dog Brand Soap, See Sen & Co -Globe & Man Brand Soap, Telephone Brand Soap , Aun Sing & Co. Best Soap, Hong Tong & Co Best Soap, Bancheon & Co. Best Soap.

Ang Kok Kian passed away at the age of 70 on 20 February 1939. Madam Kwek Cheng Kim passed away on 10 May 1967. The children listed on their tomb are;
