Mrs. Cheam Cheow Seng nee Chan Siew Leng (Bukit Brown)

Mrs. Cheam Cheow Seng nee Chan Siew Leng passed away at the age of 42 at her residence No 488 Geylang Road on 8 December 1929. Mr. Cheam Cheow Seng passed away at his residence, 488 Geylang Road on 18th December 1940. He leaves behind his daughters, Mrs. Cheong Chee Tong, Mrs. Lim Buan Long and Miss Cheam Soon Yee and his nephew Dr. Cheam Kim Chiang and Cheam Kim Hooi, 2 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. The cortege of Mr. Cheam Cheow Seng left his residence for St. Peter's and Paul Church and interred at Bidadari Cemetery. He passed away intestate and and letters of administration was granted to Cheam Soon Neo and Cheam Joo Neo. 

Cheam Cheow Seng was worked in the firm Messrs. Fraser and Cumming, Singapore. Cheam Cheow Seng was the president of the Wha Khee Kok Association and there was articles of his link to this and the 18th anniversary of the Wha Kee Kok Association was celebrated at his residence on 31 July 1922

Mr. Cheam Kin Cheang  was born in Penang and studied at Penang Free School. He obtained his M.B., B.S. from Hong Kong University in 1922. He is the eldest son of the late Mr. Cheam Cheow Heng of Penang and nephew of Mr. Cheam Cheow Seng. 

Mrs. K.C. Cheam nee Gan Keng Eam (wife of the late Dr. K.C. Cheam) passed away at Tan Tock Seng Hospital on 25th January 1981, age 79. She leaves behind an only daughter, Gracie Cheam, son-in-law, Hong Seng and granddaughter, Renee Tan Soo Hwee. Gan Keng Eam is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gan Teong Tat. 

488 Geylang Road

Mrs. Cheam Cheow Heng passed away at the age of 59 on 8 September 1925 at No 488, Gaylang Road. She is the mother of Dr. Cheam Kim Cheang and Mr. Cheam Kim Hooi. Funeral to Bukit Brown on 13 September 1925. 

On 11th September 1922, the announcement of the birth of a daughter at 488 Geylang Road to Mr. and Mrs. Cheam Kim Hooi.
