The war time era built tomb of Madam Khoo Yang Neo is interesting. Other than the fact that the lead etching is in English, the square slab tomb is like a fusion of east and west design.
Madam Khoo Yang Neo passed away at the age of 69 on 28 March 1944

There is very little information about Madam Khoo Yang, but there is one article on 13 December 1939 which mentions the engagement between Mr. Yeo Thiam Hock (only son of Mrs. Yeo Chong Lim ) to Miss. Lee Kim Kee (adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Teo Mah Seiong of Singapore Naturalist Taxidermists of 145 Selegie Road and the only daughter of Mrs. Lee Kim Nghee (nee Tan Swee Keow).
