Tan Hoe Tee passed away at the age of 67 on 2 July 1953. The tomb was erected by his beloved wife, Madam Soh Cheng Neo and he is survived by his sons, Tan Quee Seng, Tan Kiat Kheng, 2 daughters-in-law, 5 grandchildren. Mrs. Tan Hoe Tee nee Madam Soh Cheng Neo passed away at the age of 92 on 30 August 1979. She leaves behind 3 sons, 4 daughters-in-law, 5 grandsons-in-law, 1 granddaughter-in-law, 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The cortege left from 245 Cantonment Road for Bulim Cemetery, Jurong.
