Low Boon Keng (Bukit Brown)

Low Boon Keng passed away at the age of 47 on 17th July 1930 at 91-3, Joo Chiat Road. He leaves behind 2 sons, ( Low Hock Guan, Low Hock Kiat ) 1 daughter ( Low Whatt Hoe). 1 daughter-in-law and 1 grandson (Low Kang Kok ) . Low Boon Keng was associated with the Straits Chinese Literacy Association and one its event was held at Low Boon Keng's bungalow know as "Sandy Point Villa" Joo Chiat Road in 1919. 

Mrs. Low Boon Keng (Burok Tanjong Rhu) passed away at the age of 68 at 24 Sturrock Road on 15th October 1953. She leaves behind 2 sons; Low Hock Guan, Low Hock Kiat ( office assistant at the Singapore Supreme Court) , 1 daughter, Low Whatt Ho, 1 son-in-law, Po Guan Cheng, 3 daughters-in-law, 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral is at Bukit Brown Cemetery.

Family 

Son: Low Hock Guan 

Low Hock Guan passed away at the age of 88 on 8th April 1989. Listed in the obituary notice are the names of her wife and children. 

Wife: Maria Neo Whatt Neo, Mary Wong Wai Cheng (deceased)

Sons: Roland Low Kang Kok, Ron K.H. Low, 

Daughters: Low Geok Mui, Low Geok Choo, Low Geok Koon, Low Geok Poh

Location of tombs 

Low Boon Keng is buried in Block 3, Division A plot no 438. Although the newspaper article mentions that Mrs. Low Boon Keng was buried in Bukit Brown, the Bukit Brown burial records have no record of it. Her tomb was eventually located at the nearby Toa Payoh Cemetery.
