Seet Chee Beng (Bukit Brown)

The simple granite headstone of Seet Chee Beng was covered by a huge birdnest fern. After clearing, we noticed that the letter etching was still colored red. (so maybe this tomb was not visited for some years but once was). Another initial thing that puzzled me were there were 2 names on the tomb; Seet Chee Beng and also Chee Hong Neo. I checked the burial registrar entry, and the name entry was for Mr. Seet Chee Beng who from the entry passed away at the age of 43 on 13 May 1924. (So the 16 May 1924 etched on the tomb is the date where he was interred in Bukit Brown.

Listed on the tomb are the name of his children;
Sons: Seet Teng Yam, Seet Teng Hock, Seet Teng Lock
Daughters: Seet Hye Neo, Seet Bee Neo, Seet Poh Neo, Seet Eng Neo, Seet Chee Neo
Grandson: Seet Siew Hock
