There is an article dated 16 August 1929 that details a Mr.Goh Ching Moh that just recently retired after 50 years of service as a clerical staff with Messrs. W. Mansfield and Co., the local agents of the Blue Funnel Line. He started his career with this company on leaving school and remained with it up to the day of his retirement.
