Madam Tham Fong Keng passed away on 10 December 1954. What caught my eye was her lovely ceramic portrait and the word Chinese Moon below her name.
Postnote: A reader commented that Chinese moon 10 day of the 12 Chinese Moon of 1954 would actually mean that Madam Tham Fong Keng passed away on 3 January 1955.

I think the "Chinese Moon" refers to Madam Tham passing away on the 10th day of the 12th Chinese Moon of 1954. This means she died on 3 January 1955.
