Ong Siok Oh (Bukit Brown)

Ong Siok Oh passed away at the age of 68 at her residence on 31 January 1941.She leaves behind
4 adopted sons; Lim Ong Seng Lee (Charlie), Lim Eng Chiang, John Lim and Harry Lim. She is the aunty of Mr. Lim Chin Chye.

From the tomb, the name of the children are as follows:
Adopted sons: Lim Ong Seng Lee (Charlie), Lim Eng Chiang, Lim Eng Hock (John), Lim Eng Chye (Harry)
Step-daughters: Song Suan Neo, Song Gek Neo, Song Gin Neo
Adopted Grandson: Lim Bock Chwee (George)
Adopted Grand daughters : Baby Lim
Step grandson: Song Kim Seng

 

If we refer to Lim Chan Siew ( 林纘綬 ) who is the son of Lim Teck Whee and grandson of Lim Liak (Lim Leack), he passed away at the age of 55. He is survived by his widow (a Madam Ong Sek Kim and 5 sons; Lim Chin Chye (alias Bachik), Lim Eng Chiang, Lim Ong Seng Lee (alias Charlie Ong),Lim Eng Hock and Lim Eng Chye (Harry). From oral accounts from a descendant, only Charlie Lim Ong Seng Lee was actually adopted, but i guess out of respect, the rest of Lim Chan Siew's son are also mention on Ong Siok Oh's tomb. 

Fortunately from Bukitbrown.org, i know that Ong Sek Kim / Ong Siok Kim and Ong Siok Oh are sisters.

Madam Ong Siok Oh is buried in Hill 4 Section A, plot 1258.
