Mr. Gay Chin Teong passed away at the age of 39 on 1 March 1925. From his tomb the name of his children are Messrs. Gay Hock Sim, Gay Peng Hong, Gay Hock Cheok. 
In the burial record, his name is written as Gay Chin Tiong and he passed away at the age of 41/.
